Pokemon Go Reveals Adventure Week In-Game Event
The event will allow players to encounter more Rock-type Pokemon, receive more items from PokeStops and more
Pokemon Go players have now traveled more than 15.8 billion kilometers since the popular mobile game launched last July. To celebrate, developer Niantic will launch an “Adventure Week” event in the game May 18.
The Adventure Week event will run from 1 p.m. PT May 18 to 1 p.m. PT May 25. During this time, Buddy Pokemon will earn candies four times faster than normal, and players will have an increased chance of encountering Rock-type Pokemon, such as Omanyte, Kabuto and their evolutions.
