Pokemon Go Is Adding Legendary Pokemon Ho-Oh for a Limited Time
Ho-Oh can be encountered in Raid Battles around the world
Earlier this month, Niantic challenged Pokemon Go players to capture 3 billion Pokemon during the game’s first Global Catch Challenge, which ended Nov. 26. Players successfully reached this milestone, resulting in the appearance of Farfetch’d around the world for 48 hours.
Now, Niantic released an additional Pokemon in the game to celebrate players’ efforts. Until Dec. 12, players will have the chance to capture legendary Pokemon Ho-Oh in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world.
Speaking of Raid Battles, Niantic recently updated the rewards players receive from these special battles.
