TheSmokingJacket.com is a new, nudity-free “men’s entertainment destination” from Playboy Enterprises Inc. And while we like our nudity, we were willing to give the new website a chance. Hugh Hefner is a visionary, after all. 57 years ago the man created a publication that was adventurous and ground-breaking, and maybe he still has one more in him, you know?
5 minutes of browsing the formulaic, rehashed, Maxim-wannabe content had us thinking maybe we were wrong about Hef, maybe he’s less a visionary and more a tired old pornographer regurgitating mediocre ideas in a desperate bid for profits.
