Plant Your Roots as Garden Design‘s New Editor-In-Chief

Bonnier is clearly switching things up and looking for new talent, so if you’ve got a stellar editorial resume and a green thumb, now’s your time to shine. Garden Design magazine is looking for an experienced editor-in-chief to take the reigns and manage the title from its New York office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening culture and the lifestyle that surrounds it, as well as the ability to present content in fresh, new ways.

As the EIC, you’ll oversee the development and production of eight issues per year, and be expected to take a hands-on approach when it comes to choosing topics for the mag. You’ll be researching ideas, assigning stories and editing copy, so there’s no rest for the weary with this gig.

To be considered, you must have significant editorial experience with multiple consumer magazines, plus a background in gardening and lifestyle writing. Management experience, excellent copy-editing skills and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines are must-haves, too. Ready to step up to the plate? Apply here.
