Journalists Suit Up for PITCH Talks: Mets
Sept. 17 event at Katch Brewery in Astoria will feature eight sportswriters spread across three panels.
Following the first New York Mets-focused PITCH Talks event at the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square in late May, organizers jokingly proclaimed that the event had led to a “Newspaper-Blogger Peace Treaty.” So who knows what might come out of the second half of this 2015 double header?
The big difference is that Thursday’s PITCH Talks: Mets, featuring three separate panels, will take place in Queens, not Manhattan. Launched in Toronto two years ago, the event series brings together journalists and fans to discuss all things baseball:
