Pinterest Now Lets You Turn Off 'Picked for You' Recommendations

Pinterest introduced three changes based on feedback from its users.

Pinterest introduced three updates based on feedback from its users.

First, users can now send Pins and invites to other users even if they aren’t following one another. Previously, users had to be following one another to be able to send Pins and invites.

Next, users can now share Pins, boards and profiles to other applications outside of Pinterest. That is, when users tap the share button on a Pin, board or profile, they’ll now be able to share the Pin through Facebook, email, text message and more, depending on the apps they have on their devices.

Finally, users now have the option to turn off “Picked for You” recommendations, which will stop Pinterest from showing “Picked for You” Pins in their home feeds.
