Math Camp, creator of iOS photo-sharing applications Roll and Shorts, was acqui-hired by Pinterest this week, and the two apps will shut down in the next few weeks
Math Camp, creator of iOS photo-sharing applications Roll and Shorts (pictured respectively below), was acqui-hired by Pinterest this week, and the two apps will shut down in the next few weeks, Matthew Lynley of TechCrunch reported.
The company also developed Highlight, an app that launched with much buzz at South by Southwest in 2012 but fizzled and shut down in 2015, Lynley reported.
According to Lynley, most of the Math Camp team will join Pinterest, including CEO Paul Davison, who will work across multiple areas at the social network.
Lynley pointed out that Shorts had just launched in March.
