People, Hello! Threaten Bloggers Over 'Exclusive' Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Pics
Late yesterday it was revealed that Time Inc. lawyers were threatening Gawker and other Web sites over the posting of a Hello! magazine cover depicting Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, the newborn daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who became the subject of a heated battle among worldwide tabloids for the rights to photos of her — with Time Inc.’s People agreeing to pay a reported $4.1 million for the exclusive North American rights and Hello! having earlier secured exclusivity in Britain for roughly $3 million.
Today, both People and Hello! “launched legal action Wednesday against two websites” according to the AP.
