PBS NewsHour Snags Bloomberg’s Stephanie Kotuby

She has been appointed to the newly created role of senior editorial producer.

Stephanie Kotuby is heading to PBS NewsHour, according to a Wednesday morning press release. Starting Monday, the former booker for Bloomberg’s “With All Due Respect” will join Newshour in the newly created role of senior editorial producer.

“I am delighted to welcome Stephanie Kotuby to the NewsHour in this key role,” said NewsHour executive producer Sara Just in the announcement. “Stephanie will join forces with our accomplished beat producers and reporters, and expand our ability to identify and secure the most insightful and newsmaking interviews.”

Kotuby will take part in the planning and production of much of NewsHour’s editorial segments, both for broadcast and online.

Prior to her stint at Bloomberg, Kotuby served as a booker for CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and special event coverage for the elections in 2010 and 2012.
