Twitterers love to share #FollowFridays, but there are often questions about the value of the handles shared in these tweets. Are folks just sharing new followers as a nod to some unknown Twitter etiquette? Are the FollowFridays super interesting industry specialists? The reasoning behind these tweets is often unclear.

Well, we’re here to help bring a bit of order to this Follow Friday chaos.

Following up on our recent post sharing some tips for Follow Friday success we have decided to help folks find quality accounts to follow each week – accounts that focus on doing good in the world.

Whether they’re helping homeless, seeking to support wounded soldiers or nonprofit foundations attempting to help disaster victims rebuild there are many Twitter accounts out there trying to do good.

Starting next week, we will be sharing these accounts for your following pleasure – and we could use your help.

Do you know of a great nonprofit struggling to obtain the recognition it deserves (on Twitter) or an individual striving tirelessly to right some societal wrong who could use some Twitter love?

Send your tips to for possible inclusion and watch for our posts, under the “Pay It Forward Friday” heading, coming your way every Friday around 5 p.m. ET.
