Parade Names Jack Haire CEO

Jack Haire, a former publisher of Time magazine and a 28-year Time Warner employee, has been named CEO of Parade Publications, succeeding retiring CEO Walter Anderson, according to an announcement from S.I. Newhouse, Jr., chairman of Advance Publications.

Haire takes over July 1.

“Jack is an experienced executive who has a deep understanding of both print and digital media,” Newhouse said in a statement. “He is very well respected in the advertising and publishing communities and will be a great partner to Parade’s advertisers and newspaper publishers.”

Most recently, Haire led his own company, Haire Media Ventures, formed in 2006 and specializing in innovative advertising and distribution strategies, the announcement said.
