Pacers Guard Jones in Tweet Mess
Indiana Pacers guard Dahntay Jones became the latest athlete to get himself involved in controversy over a Twitter tweet.
Jones’ tweet last Thursday contained a hip-hop lyric from Rick Ross with a racial slur, followed by the message, “the nuggets did me dirty,” referring to his former National Basketball Association team, the Denver Nuggets, the Denver Post reported.
He followed up that tweet a half-hour later with, “FYI…my cousin put up that Rick ross quote. But it does fit.
