What Can the Ozlo Team Bring to AI Efforts at Facebook Messenger?

'The majority' of Ozlo's 30 person team will join the Facebook Messenger team

Facebook gave its artificial intelligence efforts for Messenger a boost with its acquisition of conversational AI startup Ozlo.

A Facebook spokesperson told Kurt Wagner of Recode that “the majority” of Ozlo’s 30-person team would join Facebook’s Messenger team out of either the social network’s headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif., or its offices in Seattle.

That majority will not include Ozlo founder and former Facebook head of platform for Android Charles Jolley, according to John Mannes of TechCrunch.
