Orange UK Sings Ad-Funded Music Tune
Orange UK has partnered with mobile ad firm ScreenTonic on an ad-supported content trial. For the next three months some 800,000 users can choose from among 500 music tracks that they can download for free or for half price, Cellular-news reports.
The ad-supported content is available at the company’s Orange World mobile portal. Particpating advertisers include Ford and Paramount Pictures.
Presumably, if the trial goes well, Orange will expand its ad-supported offerings.
