Omnicom Q2 Earnings: Profit Down 24%

Advertising and media agency holding company Omnicom Group (OMC) reported a Q2 2009 profit decrease of 24% today. Profits of $233.4 million were down from $307.0 million in Q2 2008. The company’s stock price actually climbed in recent weeks, from $30.11 per share on July 8, to hovering around $34.50 as of 11am EST today.
