Oldest Twitter User Ivy Bean Dies at 104
Sad news from the Twitterverse, as Ivy Bean, who was believed to be the microblogging service’s oldest user, died at the age of 104, Mashable reports.
Bean had more than 57,000 followers, and she had sent more than 1,000 Tweets. According to Mashable, she also had a Facebook page.
Bean’s passing was announced in two Tweets from her account, with the first one reading, “ivy passed away peacefully at 12.08 this morning,” and the second one saying, “Im sorry it took me so long to tell you but it was a very difficult thing to do.”
