How many different ways do we all clarify that something is off the record? Seems like there are endless ways that the phrase is tossed out in conversation.
“…this is strictly off the record…”
“…this is off the record, of course…”
“…this is off the record, obviously…”
“…this is off the record, right?…”
“…I assume this is off the record…”
“…obviously, this is off the record…”
“…this is way off the record…”
“…this is totally off the record…”
“…this is so off the record…”
