Off the Media: Blogging With Impunity

This week, the only thing that jumps out to us from WNYC’s “On the Media” is the assertion that a California shield law that protected bloggers from being outed on Apple Computer company’s behalf could become a model for the rest of the country.

Apple wanted to get Internet service records for bloggers to find out who from inside the company may have emailed the bloggers with details of an upcoming device. Judge said “nope.”

We can only hope the rest of America again follows in California’s legal footsteps.
