'Obama' Second Most Searched Term on Mobile

According to index-tracking data of 200 mobile sites from Crisp Wireless, “Barack Obama” was the second most searched term Index after “Movies/Movie Listings” on the mobile Web during the second quarter, MediaPost reports. It’s down from Q1, where Obama was actually the top search term, but it’s still high.

Our first reaction was that the continued high standing had something to do with Obama’s VP text campaign, but the data is for Q2 which took place before the Joe Biden pick.
