NYT Launches City Room

Over at the NYT, Sewell Chan‘s City Room blog has finally gone live. The Times has been heavily promoting the local news blog over the past few months. Besides Chan, Diane Cardwell, Nicholas Confessore, Danny Hakim, Jonathan P. Hicks, Patrick LaForge, Alexis Mainland, Geoff McGhee, Maria Newman, Mike Richard and Ray Rivera will be contributing posts as well. It looks as if City Room is looking to integrate multimedia content in a similar way to its sibling Screens
