Sometimes even a professional, adult human behaves like a child. When this happens, the child must be punished. One such example is New York Times metro reporter Alan Feuer, who sent a crude tweet to New York Post features writer Jane Ridley.
Ridley called out Feuer for using the word “empyrean” in his article on the demise of the New York Daily News. Feuer noticed the tweet, then reacted like a 12-year-old:
What a guy!
Feuer’s editor, Wendell Jamieson, was forced to remind Feuer to not be a childish idiot.
