The New York Times has named Adam Bryant editorial director of its event division, NYTLive.
Bryant was most recently a deputy editor on the Times’ science desk. He previously served as a business reporter, deputy business editor, deputy national editor and senior editor for features. Bryant was the lead editor for a Times feature on the dangers of distracted drivers that won a Pulitzer Prize.
Bryant is succeeding Charles Duhigg, who is moving on an undefined writing assignment.
