Standing O for The New York Times, which has passed the one million digital subscriber mark. In just under five years, one million (and counting) subscribers. Not bad at all.
In a statement, Times CEO Mark Thompson told competitors “Come at me bro.” Well, not in those exact words.
“We believe that no other news organization has achieved digital subscriber numbers like ours or comparable digital subscription revenue,” said Thompson. “It’s a tribute to the hard work and innovation of our marketing, product and technology teams and the continued excellence of our journalism.”
