NRA Meets Resistance With New App Launch
Just as New York state has passed stricter gun control laws and president Obama is expected to announce new gun control policies tomorrow, the National Rifle Association (NRA) has released a new app for target practice.
The NRA’s app, called Practice Range, features a 3D video-game with a realistic simulation of a shooting range. Players can choose from nine different firearms and three different shooting ranges, as well as a couple of levels of difficulties. The free app also includes news, laws, safety tips, and educational materials.
