NPR has announced the hire of Michael Lutzky as vp of business development, a new role for the organization. Lutzky comes to NPR from Oveo Solutions, a consultancy group he founded, but his roots are in journalism; he served as a staff photographer at The Baltimore Sun and The Washington Post earlier in his career.
In a statement, Lutzky described how those dual experiences will help him at NPR. “This role blends two passions of mine; great storytelling and good business,” he said.
