Nosy Crow Signs Deal for French, German eBook Apps

U.K-based Nosy Crow has signed deals to have its enhanced eBook apps published by Carlsen and Gallimard Jeunesse, with Nosy Crow’s The Three Little Pigs app as the first title to be translated.

Each is a leading publisher in its respective country, which gives them both a superior ability to translate the apps into their native language. Nosy Crow believes that this is a better approach than bundling several  languages into one app. This will also give Nosy Crow a local partner who will provide the publicity and marketing needed to get the attention of potential customers.

Klaus Humann of Carlsen Germany, says: “The question is: how to entertain the next generation of kids? Books will still play the most important part, but other media will fascinate girls and boys alike.
