Nominations for National Capital Emmy Awards Announced
The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced the 2013 Emmy® Award nominations. Leading the list locally is NBCWashington with 24 nominations. WJLA earned 13 nominations, while WUSA and WTTG earned 10 and 7, respectively. Comcast SportsNet received 12 nominations.
Emmy® Awards are presented in various sectors of the television industry, including entertainment, news and documentary, and sports programming by 19 chapters across the country. The Washington market is part of the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter.
