Nokia Racks Up Mobile Ad Partners

On the heels of its Comes With Music and other mobile media-related launches, Nokia is also racking up advertising partners. The company said in a statement today that several leading U.S. publishers have joined the Nokia Media Network, which is an advertising network that promises reach to millions of mobile consumers through advertising on blue-chip mobile publishers, operator partners and Nokia services.

According to Nokia, Fox News, A&E Network, Bio Channel, HISTORY, and the Hollywood Reporter all recently signed on, joining Reuters, CNET, Hearst, AccuWeather, and Sprint. Nokia doesn’t have nearly the strong presence they have worldwide here in the states due to a distinct lack of CDMA-compatible cell phones on both Verizon and Sprint networks, but we’re keeping an eye on them as they shift priorities to more service-oriented offerings on mobile.
