Nielsen's Training May Get New Life

Training magazine, which Nielsen Business Media quietly closed last month, may get new life under a new owner, Folio: reports.

Nielsen announced the closure of the magazine and accompanying Web site late last month, saying the March issue would be the publication’s last and that that 11 staffers would be affected. But if a new buyer is found, it’s possible that some of the 11 would keep their jobs. Here’s hoping.

Nielsen sold eight of its brands, including Hollywood Reporter, Adweek, and Billboard to E5 Global Media in December; that’s also when it announced it was shuttering Editor & Publisher and Kirkus Reviews.
