The clash between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton resulted in 83.016 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter.

Fox’s Empire, which came in at No. 2, was nowhere close, with just 1.134 million interactions.

The National Football League continued its strong performance, accounting for seven of the top 10 sports events in terms of Facebook and Twitter interactions, led by the Dallas Cowboys’ victorious visit to the San Francisco 49ers, at 7.39 million interactions.
