Nielsen Social Content Ratings, Week of May 22: Mexican Soccer Kicks Its Way to the Top

ABC’s remake of Dirty Dancing was not put in a corner

The beautiful game put on a beautiful performance in the Nielsen Social Content Ratings for the week of May 22, as game two of the Fútbol Mexicano Primera División finals between CD Guadalajara and Tigres UANL—won 2-1 by visiting Guadalajara—led with 4.184 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter.

Game one of the soccer series, which ended in a 2-2 draw, placed sixth on the sports chart, with 1.026 million interactions.

Three National Basketball Association postseason contents occupied the second through fourth spots on Nielsen’s sports chart for the week.

ABC’s remake of Dirty Dancing was not put in a corner, leading the Nielsen Social Content Ratings television series and specials list for the week, with 1.509 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter.

NBC’s The Voice, with 776,000 interactions across the two social networks, edged Empire on Fox (763,000) for second place.
