The 2017 National Football League Draft dominated the Nielsen Social Content Ratings for the week of April 24, with 11.844 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter for the first round, followed by 4.25 million more for the second and third rounds.

Nielsen listed the NFL Draft on the television series and specials chart, not the sports chart. The two nights of coverage were followed by the Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2017 on Telemundo, with 707,000 total interactions across the two social networks.

Playoff games from the National Basketball Association and National Hockey League accounted for all 10 listings on the sports chart for the week, with the NBA sweeping the top three: Oklahoma City Thunder at Houston Rockets (1.445 million total interactions across Facebook and Twitter); San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies (842,000); and Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Clippers (833,000).
