The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC tallied more than 24 times the total interactions on Facebook and Twitter of any other TV series or special for the week of Jan. 1.

According to the Nielsen Social Content Ratings, Sunday night’s event totaled 13.203 million interactions across the two social networks.

USA Network’s WWE Monday Night Raw placed a distant second for the week, with 545,000 interactions across Facebook and Twitter, and third place went to The Bachelor on ABC (516,000).

The list for sports events was a football sandwich, with the college football semifinals representing the bread and the National Football League playing the part of the meat.

First and fourth place went to the Rose Bowl and Allstate Sugar Bowl, respectively, while the NFL’s Wild Card weekend games snagged the second and third sports.

The University of Georgia punched its ticket to the College Football Playoff National Championship game with a win over the University of Oklahoma, and ESPN’s and ESPN Deportes’ Rose Bowl telecast spurred 8.511 million total interactions.

Eventual champion the University of Alabama’s defeat of Clemson University in the Sugar Bowl, also on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, tallied 5.208 million interactions.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints eliminating the visiting Carolina Panthers on Fox and Fox Deportes edged the Tennessee Titans’ upset of the host Kansas City Chiefs on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, with 5.585 million and 5.553 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter, respectively.
