Nicholas Thompson Becomes Senior Editor at The New Yorker
The New Yorker has named Wired senior editor and Bloomberg News contributing editor Nicholas Thompson its newest senior editor, the Observer reports.
Thompson is also the author of The Hawk and the Dove: Paul Nitze, George Kennan, and the History of the Cold War, and also writes for The New York Times‘ “Book Review.” Not only that, he’s quite a technically accomplished guitar player — listen to those harmonics on “Serenading the L Train,” which he presumably has played on the actual L train! He seems quite energetic!
