In response to public outrage over Chick-fil-A's anti-gay policy, Newsweek's Brian Ries is using Tumblr and other sites to ask current and former employees of the fast-food chain to step forward and share their stories.

Earlier this month, Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy had spoken out against gay marriage in favor of “the biblical definition of the family unit.” His statement to Baptist Press caused an uproar among supporters of the LGBT community, especially when the organization Equality Matters uncovered the fact that WinShape, Chick-fil-A’s charitable arm, had donated $2 million to anti-gay Christian organizations in 2009.
