Newsweek.com Appoints New COO

Alix Baudin has been named chief operating officer of Newsweek.com, a new position just created by the weekly news magazine.

Baudin joins the site from BET Networks, where he managed business development, the vertical ad network and operations on the network’s digital side. He has also worked as chief operating officer at Carol’s Daughter Holdings and senior director of finance and strategy at Mobile ESPN, ESPN Wireless and Sports Ticker. And Baudin also has previous experience as an investment banker, working at JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs.
