Newsweek breaks news of possible plot against Washington targets

Newsweek‘s Mark Hosenball, the investigative ying to Isikoff‘s yang, breaks what could be big, scary news: Three men arrested in London may have been plotting to blow up the U.S. Capitol, the White House and other targets with homemade bombs. Lovely.

Officials aren’t sure how advanced such a plot might be, or if it was just in the discussion phase, but they’re taking it seriously: “Officials in both countries are concerned, however, that the suspects could be part of a terror network stretching from the United States to Britain to Bosnia.”
