NewspaperDirect Optimized for Android Devices
NewspaperDirect, the international periodical distributor, has optimized its website, PressDisplay.com, for Android devices, bringing its catalog of 1,400 newspapers and periodicals from across the globe to another line of mobile devices.
This is the third announcement this week from the company, which also unveiled support for Sony Reader and Kindle; for both of those eReaders, NewspaperDirect developed apps for downloading and importing content onto the devices. For Android phones and Web-enabled devices, however, the company has optimized its content-viewing Website for Android’s browser.
