Newcastle Brown Ale Mixes Beer with Social Media

Newcastle Brown Ale has launched a series of installations in San Diego, with one setting up opportunities for picture takers to post images on social networks.

The video above shows how it’s working for the “Trapped in a Schooner” installation at the Del Mar Race Track, which opened for the season a couple of weeks ago. Post the photos on Facebook or Foursquare and get a t-shirt.

A huge shadow sculpture is also on display in San Diego’s Gas Lamp district and there’s a third installation/illusion called “Human Installations” that makes it look like people are stealing kegs of Newcastle from locations around the city.
