Mets Get the Daily News Clean Sweep

At press time, the team is responsible for every one of the paper's Most Read articles.

It’s a few hours before Game 1 of the 2015 World Series. But already, the New York Daily News is winning.

Per the 5:30 p.m. screen grab at right, all ten of the beleaguered paper’s Most Read stories currently involve the National League champs. Not too surprising, really, but given that this grid is normally dominated by Hollywood celebrities and salacious social media-fed scandals, it’s a sight for New York sore eyes.

For the moment, the Daily News is back to being a ‘Hometown Newspaper.’
