New Hires in Mobile: GREE, Gameloft and Tapjoy

Hiring in the mobile apps sector dropped again this week, with just 12 new hires spread out across eight companies. Based on information from LinkedIn and other sources, GREE International and Gameloft showed the most activity, but Tapjoy had the highest profile acquisition this week with its hiring of Dima Roznouski, who joins the company as the Publishing Director Eastern Europe. EA Mobile Laura Ledesma, Mobile Marketing Coordinator - A single change this week for EA Mobile, which promoted Ledesma from her position as a mobile marketing trainee. Gameloft Derick Ballard, Environment Artist - A pair of hires at Gameloft. Ballard moves from Turn 10 Studios where he worked as an environment and production artist. Stefania Sicilia, Junior Programmer - Sicilia also joins the Gameloft team as a junior programmer. Glu Mobile Jaime Turnbull Dreher, Payroll Specialist - A single new hire puts Glu Mobile on our list this week. Turnbull Dreher was previously as payroll analyst at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. GREE Jonathan Penaloza, Lead Artist - GREE continues its hiring streak with three new hires this week. First up is Penaloza, who was an art manager and lead artist at TinyCo. Tara Einis, Product Marketing Manager - Next up is Einis, who moves from Atakama Labs where she was the director of marketing & publishing. Atakama was recently acquired by DeNA. Jordi Berguido Covas, Financial Controller - Also joining GREE is Covas, who was previously the corporate controller at eDreams. InMobi Nitish Shangari, Software Development Engineer - InMobi make the list again this week by bringing on Shangari, who moves from Samsung India, where he was a mobile application developer. Jelli Matthew Ferguson, Mobile Developer - Jelli makes the hiring roundup after a long absence. Ferguson was previously a software developer at Cisco Systems. Rovio Jason Togneri, Web Games QA - Rovio also brings on two new faces this week. First up is Togneri, who moves from Technically English. Piotr Gutaker, Senior Web Game Tester - Also new to Rovio is Gutaker, who was previously a QA consultant at Cybercom Finland. Tapjoy Dima Roznouski, Publishing Director Eastern Europe - This week's highest profile hire sees Tapjoy bring on Roznouski from Goviral, where he was the publishing director - international.
