Twitter Remembers The First Man On The Moon With Neil Armstrong Tribute [VIDEO]

When Neil Armstrong passed away this week at age 82, the news, of course, broke first on Twitter, and quickly moved around the world as it was shared between admirers of the man who first walked on the moon.

All-told, some 1.6 million tweets were sent, many offering their condolences to Armstrong’s family, who described him as a “reluctant American hero” and someone who “serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true, to be willing to explore and push the limits, and to selflessly serve a cause greater than themselves”.
