NBC4 Hires Its First Multimedia Reporter

Once upon a time, Jacob Rascon thought about becoming a CIA agent and took Arabic-Hebrew classes at Brigham Young to support that notion. But by way of Egypt last year, he confirmed a different initial career calling: journalist.

Rascon has joined NBCLA as the station’s first multimedia reporter. His beat for now is Riverside and San Bernardino counties, but one day, he hopes to go international. From his bio page:

Rascon’s passion for journalism is second-generation, as his father and uncle were also broadcast journalists in the Los Angeles television market.
