NBC Universal Promotes Death (Cameron Death, That Is)

Cameron Death launched the NBC Universal Digital Studio while serving as the media company’s vice president of digital content. His reward was a promotion to senior VP and general manager of the studio, announced Monday by NBCU.

Death will add responsibility for new revenue streams, integrating more closely with NBCU’s core entertainment properties, and extending libraries into international and other secondary markets.

Prior to joining NBCU in November 2007, Death spent more than 10 years at Microsoft, driving marketing, sales, business, and product development strategies for several online businesses.

Death reports to NBC Universal Digital Entertainment president Vivi Zigler, who said:

Cameron has done what many thought impossible.
