NBC Executive Nora O'Brien Dies

The LA Times ran an obituary today for Universal program executive Nora O’Brien, who died Wednesday night shortly after collapsing on the set of the series “Parenthood,” based on the 1989 feature film. The cause of death is believed to be a brain aneurysm. O’Brien was 44 years old.

The LAT obit quotes her former boss Mark Stern, executive vice president for original programming at the Sci Fi channel:

“She was talented, smart and insightful,” Stern said.
