National Geographic Travel Names Andrew Nelson Editorial Projects Director

It's a new role for the organization.

Andrew Nelson has been named editorial projects director for National Geographic Travel, a newly created position within the unit that houses National Geographic Traveler magazine.

In this new role, Nelson, who has been a contributing editor for National Geographic Traveler, will serve as a bridge between editorial and advertising at Travel and will be responsible for sponsored content and partnerships.

“I am confident that Andrew is the perfect person for the job,” said Travel editor in chief George Stone in a statement.
