National Book Award Finalists Announced
The National Book Award finalists have been announced and Californians include:
Arnold Rampersad for Ralph Ellison: A Biography. Rampersad’s the Sara Hart Kimball Professor in the Humanities at Stanford.
Robert Hass for Time and Materials, in poetry. He teaches at UC Berkeley.
Kathleen Duey for Skin Hunger: A Resurrection of Magic, Book One. Duey is nominated in Young People’s Literature and lives in Fallbrook.
