MySpace Mobile general manager and vice president John Faith left the social-networking site to become senior VP of engineering for Austin, Texas-based start-up WhaleShark Media, TechCrunch reported.

MySpace told TechCrunch Nat Brown will assume Faith’s former duties. Brown was chief technology officer at iLike before its acquisition by MySpace in August, and he also worked with CAC Media and Microsoft.
