MTV released on iOS app provides access to the content on their web based MTV Music Meter. The app ranks the top 100 artists based on factors such as social media buzz and streams on video sites. It can provide audio clip previews of songs for each artists as well as news, biographys, and tweets about the artists.
The app is free for the iPhone and iPad. It has gained a very respectable 4 star average rating since its release last week.
