MSLO Taps Former NBCU Exec to Head Ad Sales

Joe Lagani will become COO

Former NBCU exec Joe Lagani has been tapped to fill the newly created position of chief revenue officer at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Lagani will be in charge of all print and digital ad sales for MSLO’s magazines (including Martha Stewart Living and Everyday Food), websites, iPad and iPhone apps, radio, and TV platforms.

Lagani’s most recent job was at NBCUniversal/iVillage, where he was senior vice president of ad sales. Prior to that, he worked as vice president of brand sales at Glam Media, publisher of Condé Nast’s House & Garden, and publishing director of Meredith’s Country Home, Traditional Home, and American Baby.

Lagani's new boss, MSLO president and COO Lisa Gersh, also told Min that the company’s corporate executive vice president, group publisher Sally Preston, has departed.
